Process progress

Duration: A full course usually lasts ~ 10 days. After whitening with the Philips Zoom System, it is recommended to wear the retainer for about 3 days/nights to achieve ideal whiteness.

Consultation and preparation: The dentist assesses the condition of the teeth and takes impressions of the teeth or scans the dental arches. We recommend that you follow the dentist's instructions exactly to avoid dental damage later. It is especially important to use a whitening toothpaste recommended by the dentist and from a reliable manufacturer.

Custom crown manufacturing: Soft, transparent crowns are manufactured in the laboratory that fit your teeth precisely.

Home whitening: A whitening gel is applied to the trays – 10-16 percent carbamide peroxide. The trays are worn day or night for 4-6 hours, depending on the concentration of the gel.

How to use the eligners:

1. Inject the whitening gel into the reservoirs on the outer surface (inner segment) of the trays.
2. After cleaning your teeth and the spaces between them, place the trays over your teeth and ensure they—and their edges—fit snugly.
3. Follow the doctor's instructions. If tooth sensitivity occurs, discontinue whitening and consult a dentist.
4. Clean the aligners with a moistened toothbrush and a stream of cool water. Store them in the case (in a cool, dry place).
5. Protect the whitening agent from heat and direct sunlight. If you are not using it for an extended period or have discontinued the whitening process, store the whitening agent in the refrigerator. Pay attention to the expiration date.
