How does teeth straightening with clear aligners work?
Initial assessment and planning
The doctor assesses the condition of your teeth and bite, and performs an intraoral scan and X-rays. Based on this data, a personalized 3D treatment plan is created, precisely showing how the teeth will move and what the final result will be.
Production of custom straightening aligners
Clear, custom-made aligners are produced according to your treatment plan. Each one differs slightly in shape to gradually move your teeth into the desired position.
Course of treatment
The aligners are worn for at least 22 hours a day—they are removed only when eating or brushing one's teeth. A new aligner is usually switched in every 10 days, depending on the doctor's instructions.
Follow-up visits
Regular doctor visits allow for the assessment of treatment progress and the making of adjustments as needed. This ensures that the treatment proceeds smoothly and according to the planned course.
